Mr Huang, a 60-year-old man who lives in southwest China
and has a collection of nine TPE sex dolls, insists he does not mind being
labelled as "abnormal" because he uses them as his surrogate
daughters.
"I love my doll like a father."
This attention-grabbing hobby has made him the talk of the
town, especially since he set up a social media account that shows pictures and
video of him and his "daughters" visiting local attractions or going
out to shopping.
Huang's wife divorced him ten years ago. So far, Mr. Huang
has spent more than RMB100,000 on costumes, Musical Instruments and other props
for the dolls.
To avoid giving the wrong impression, He said the doll was
just for taking pictures and that his family had no problem with his pastimes.
He said he had never photographed his real sex doll without clothes
on, nor allowed anyone else to do so.
His curiosity was first piqued five years ago when he saw a
silicone doll for sale in Beijing.
Initially, he put off buying it because it was priced at
rmb80,000, but after a few months, he decided to take the risk and order one
online.
He named his first real love sex doll "Xiaoxue" and from then
on, he celebrated Xaoxue's birthday on the day she came to his home and gave
her a cake.
Since then, he has bought eight dolls for himself and held
similar celebrations -- four of them donated by his friends after their
marriage, and their wives asked to have them disposed of -- but he told the
portal that he still likes Xaoxue best.
Mr. Huang lives alone in a three-story house, said he was
happy to have the house because his 19-year-old son works far away from home.
He insisted that his family had no problem with his
hobbies, saying that his son saw the doll as his sister. His nieces often visit
his house to play with sex dolls for men, he said, and his neighbors think he lives in his
own world.
To illustrate his point, he tells a story about a time when
he and his son were holding a doll in the street and a man came up to them and
squeezed the doll's chest.
He said this angered his son, who accused the man of being
"rude to my sister".
Mr. Huang said he had a clear conscience about his
collection. Like other people's hobbies, like computer games. Hobbies are
equal. "Rumors and curses cannot defeat me."
